Sam Wilson (B. Bus)

Sam is Managing Director, CEO and co-founder. His experience is over 15 years in sales, ICT, advertising, media and commercial operations.
Sam is a results-oriented technology executive with experience developing and marketing innovative technology solutions, creating and executing sales and marketing strategies, and managing business operations with a strategic approach to achieving long term goals.
He has a strong focus on sales, strategic planning, investor value creation and corporate governance.
In addition he has a background in operational and financial management of businesses with a focus on emerging media and technology and co-developed the Urban Marketing brand and associated intellectual property.

Tim Smith (B. Eng)

Tim Smith is an Executive Director and CTO. His 20 years experience in technology start-ups in mobile, advertising and online video across Asia and the United States enables him to bring an entrepreneurial flair to the sophisticated technology offerings characterising the mobile, online and advertising industries of today.
Tim’s experience in ICT / media covers all operational and commercial areas (programming, system admin, integration, production and business development) and has extensive experience developing and commercialising new technology products and services.
Tim has over ten years experience in wireless business development in Asia including operator relations and negotiation, content aggregation and licensing, new business entry and incubation. He is experienced and has the networks to directly manage deals with Japanese, Chinese and Taiwanese operators and service providers.

Philip Miles

Philip is a Non Executive Director who is experienced in the management of ICT companies with over 30 years of management, ICT consulting, market creation and start-up experience.
Philip has extensive knowledge of managing technology start-ups and is a consummate business development thinker and technology evangelist. He is a keen student of world wide ICT trends and has participated in focus groups with IBM and HP. He is a very experienced and skilled workshop developer and presenter, often presenting to boards and government agencies.

John Forrester (Dip. Bus & IT)

Mr Forrester is Marketing & Investor Management Director, co-founder and co-developer of the Urban Marketing Limited brand and associated intellectual property. He has 15 years of experience in marketing, sales, mobile and online solutions with technology innovators in the online and mobile advertising industries.John’s operational experience in the management of multiple development projects stems from extensive work developing and delivering innovative online and mobile solutions across the Asian region, primarily in Japan, China and Singapore with a client base of the likes of Toyota, BAT (Japan) and HelloNetworks Asia.

John Forrester (Dip. Bus & IT)

Mr. Forrester is Project Director, co-founder and co-developed the Urban Marketing brand and associated intellectual property. He has 15 years experience in marketing, sales, mobile and online solutions with technology innovators in the online and mobile advertising industries.
John’s operational experience in the management of multiple development projects stems from extensive work developing and delivering innovative online and mobile solutions across the Asian region, primarily Japan, China and Singapore with a client base of the likes of British American Tobacco – Japan and HelloNetworks Asia.

In addition he has a background in business operational and financial management with a focus on emerging media and technology and has co-developed the Urban Marketing Limited brand, value proposition and associated intellectual property. He has a strong focus on strategic planning, achieving long term goals, sales, product development and corporate governance.

He has held positions in several start-ups and Fortune 500 companies ranging from executive to consulting level positions. (BAI Systems, Disney, HelloNetwork, Systematics, Kaiser Permanente, CAAA, NEMRA, AC Capital, Freeverse Partners, Sairis Group.) Tim has over 10 years of experience in wireless business development in Asia including operator relations and negotiation, content aggregation and licensing, new business entry and incubation. He is experienced and has the networks to directly manage deals with Japanese, Chinese and Taiwanese operators and service providers.

Thom Hallgren, Creative Director

Thom is the Creative Director of Urban Marketing Limited.He is an internationally recognised Creative Director and entrepreneur, having been actively involved with numerous highly prominent branding, marketing, iTV, mobile applications, advertising and promotional campaigns worldwide. His ability to offer fresh perspectives, unique creativity and “outside the box” creative planning and strategies differentiates him from many others in his field. Thom’s clients have included some of the most prominent media, television, and entertainment companies in the world, and their resulting successes in ratings, viewer responses, and market saturation speak to his expertise.
Thomas Hallgren has over 20 years’ experience in creative development, strategic branding, marketing, and mobile applications. He has workedfor international companies such as Fiinex Inc. (International Creative Agency specialising in Television, Motion and Mobile Application Development),Nostrum, SONY, Toshiba and Pittard Sullivan. Thomhas also beenactive in the creative development of major projects for various television and internet companies including: The Disney Channel, Germany’s famed ZDF Television network,HBO/Cinemax, Bravo, The Sci-Fi Channel, Intel Internet Technologies.
